Endometriosis

Endometriosis RE+BALANCE
Endometriosis

You've been told to
just manage it. You deserve better.

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women. The average time to diagnosis is 8 years. And even after diagnosis, most women are handed the same limited options the pill, surgery, repeat. There is more that can be done.

Understand your hormones properly
Does this sound familiar?

What women with endometriosis
are told and what they're not

If you have endometriosis, the chances are you've spent years fighting to be believed, pushed towards the same treatments, and left to manage the rest on your own. These are the conversations we hear most.

"Just go on the pill"

Hormonal birth control is often the first and only thing offered not as a treatment, but as a way to mask symptoms. It can suppress the pain for a while, but it doesn't address the underlying hormonal environment that drives endometriosis. When you come off it, the symptoms return. Often worse.

"You'll need another operation"

Surgery can remove endometrial tissue, but it doesn't change the hormonal conditions that allowed it to grow in the first place. Without addressing oestrogen dominance and progesterone imbalance, the tissue grows back. Many women go through multiple procedures with no lasting relief because the root cause was never looked at.

"Your pain is normal for endometriosis"

Debilitating pain, fatigue that wipes out days, digestive symptoms, and mood changes are not something you simply have to accept. They are signals that your body's hormonal balance needs support. Understanding your specific hormone profile means we can actually work with your body instead of just managing symptoms from the outside.

"There's nothing more we can do"

Nutrition, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle changes that support healthy oestrogen metabolism are rarely discussed in conventional endo care. Yet the evidence behind them is strong. The hormonal environment in your body directly influences how endometriosis behaves and that environment can be changed.

Why testing matters

Why the DUTCH test is different
for women with endometriosis

Endometriosis is driven largely by oestrogen. But the picture is more complex than just having too much it's about how oestrogen is being metabolised and whether progesterone is doing its job. Standard testing rarely looks at any of this in enough detail.

Standard blood test
Misses most of what matters for endo
  • Gives a single oestrogen reading tells you nothing about how it's being broken down
  • Doesn't measure oestrogen metabolites, which are directly linked to endometriosis progression
  • Limited progesterone information often misses luteal phase deficiency
  • No insight into cortisol patterns, which affect pain sensitivity and immune function
  • Doesn't show whether the body is clearing oestrogen efficiently through the liver and gut
The DUTCH Complete
A proper look at the hormonal drivers of endometriosis
  • Maps oestrogen metabolites showing which breakdown pathways are active and whether they're protective or problematic
  • Measures progesterone metabolites across the full cycle to identify imbalances that drive tissue growth
  • Shows cortisol patterns across the day relevant to pain, inflammation, and immune regulation
  • Identifies whether oestrogen clearance is being hindered by liver or gut function
  • Gives us a starting point to actually change the hormonal environment, not just suppress symptoms
The RE+BALANCE DUTCH Test

The hormonal picture
nobody showed you before

The DUTCH Complete gives us a detailed map of your oestrogen metabolism, progesterone balance, cortisol patterns, and more from a simple at-home urine test. Results are reviewed by our clinical team and discussed with you directly, so you understand what's going on and what can actually be done about it.

Common questions

Things people usually want to know

Yes and this is one of the most important reasons to test. Surgery removes the tissue that's already there, but it doesn't change the hormonal conditions that caused it to grow. If oestrogen metabolism is poor, or progesterone isn't doing its job, the environment for regrowth remains. Understanding your hormone profile means we can work on the underlying drivers giving you a much better chance of keeping it from coming back.
Hormonal birth control can genuinely help with endometriosis and for many women it makes a real difference to pain and quality of life. There's nothing wrong with being on it. The issue is when it stops working, or you want to come off it, or you're still struggling despite taking it. Because it works by suppressing your natural cycle, it doesn't tell you anything about what your hormones are doing underneath. Testing while on birth control does affect the DUTCH results, so we'd talk through the best timing with you. But understanding your hormone picture before making any decisions about your contraception is often one of the most useful things you can do.
It does and the evidence behind it is stronger than most people are told. The way your body processes and clears oestrogen is heavily influenced by liver function, gut health, and diet. Certain foods and nutrients support healthy oestrogen metabolism; others hinder it. Once we can see exactly how your oestrogen is being broken down, we can make targeted recommendations that are specific to your results not generic endo advice.
No and we'd never suggest it should. Surgical care, specialist management, and conventional medical treatment remain important for endometriosis. What we offer works alongside that, filling the gap that conventional care often leaves: understanding the hormonal and metabolic picture, and supporting your body through nutrition and lifestyle in a way that's actually tailored to you.
Standard blood tests almost never look at oestrogen metabolites the breakdown products of oestrogen that are most relevant to endometriosis. Your total oestrogen can appear normal while the specific metabolites driving tissue growth are elevated. The DUTCH test looks at the full metabolic picture, which is where the meaningful information for endo usually lives.
